Hello friends when we talk about playing cricket the question comes in our mind is how to grip a cricket bat

Basics of gripping a cricket bat

It looks very easy to answer but believes me guys it is not. The difference in opinions of different players about how to grip the cricket bat makes it more difficult for us to select one from them.
When we talk about different ways, how we can grip a bat then hundreds of thoughts come in our mind but in the language of cricket, there are mainly two types of grips.

 1. Bottom hand grip:

In this type of grip, we generally hold our bat from the bottom of the handle. It provides more stability and controls on your short. To play with this type of grip your bottom hand should be stronger. With regular practice, you can master a bottom hand grip.

2. Upper hand grip:

Name clears all the facts about this type of grip. In this type of grip, we hold the handle of the bat with the upper side. However, this is hard to master but if you can then nothing could be better than this. Generally, this type of grip is used for power hitting as it provides more momentum and power to the short.
Here in this video, I have given a short introduction to different basic ways to grip a cricket bat.
